"Itwillrequireustostandagainsttheforcesofhatredandbigotry,terroranddestruction.Itwillrequireustocontinuetoprosper,toalleviatepoverty,tobetterbalancethedemandsofworkandfamilyandtoserve,eachofus,inourcommunities.

"Itwillrequireustotakebettercareofourenvironment.Itwillrequireustomakefurtherbreakthroughsinscienceandtechnology,tocuredreaddiseases,healbrokenbodies,lengthenlifeandunlocksecretsfromglobalwarmingtotheblackholesintheuniverse.

"Now,wemaynotbeabletoeliminateallhatefulintolerance,butwecandevelopahealthyintoleranceofbigotry,oppressionandabjectpoverty.

"Wemaynotbeabletoeliminatealltheharshconsequencesofglobalization.Butwecancommunicatemoreandtravelmoreandtrademoreinawaythatliftsthelivesofordinaryworkingfamilieseverywhereandthequalityofourglobalenvironment.
